WHY ARE WE ORDERING FROM CENTRAL MILLING, EARTH TOUCH, CAFENEA ARTISAN ROASTING COMPANY and CANOE WILD RICE?

Central Milling is known for their superb quality and reliability. They have been working with local farmers for the last 150 years to sustainably grow wheat berries and various grains that have exceptional flavor, high nutrient content and the best baking performance. They produce some of the best, highest protein wheat berries on the market! Central Milling has state of the art cleaning processes to sort and clean their wheat berries, giving you the cleanest wheat berries ready to pour in your mill, no chaff, no debris! They are certified organic, 100% glyphosate free and certified kosher. Many home millers and bakers love Central Milling and we are so glad to be able to offer their wheat berries at wholesale prices some of which are the best anywhere! And with free delivery to the drops!❤️

Earth Touch is both the farm and the mill and grows one of the most ancient wheat berries,  Bleinkorn (Black Einkorn). What is Bleinkorn (Black Einkorn)? It is a rare einkorn wheat variety that is high in anthocyanins unlike regular einkorn! Meaning it has anti-inflammatory properties and Bleinkorn is higher in protein and still has all the benefits of regular einkorn. It makes the best cookies and most delicious, moist bread! Bleinkorn has a deep, nutty, toasty, buttery flavor with a subtle natural sweetness! The Bleinkorn wheat berry itself has slight purple strains in it, but when growing in the field it’s dark hulls and awns make majestic purple waves of grain! 💜

Earth Touch has has over 500 acres in Northwest Missouri where they grow Bleinkorn regeneratively, without the use of chemicals, herbicides or pesticides. They are 100% glyphosate free. Earth Touch uses mechanical weed control rather than chemicals, relying on equipment that works the soil removing weeds. They use cover crops to support soil health and fertility. Earth Touch has state of the art cleaning processes to remove over 99% of all chaff and debris!

Note: (Einkorn is becoming a commodity high in demand and short in supply. Many farms are stopping production of Einkorn due to the difficulty in harvesting it and cleaning it. Fortunately, Earth Touch is expanding its farming acreage with plans to make Einkorn more affordable by developing equipment that can more easily harvest and clean it. We are so happy to be supporting them in their efforts!)

Cafenea Artisan Roasting Company is a local, small batch artisan coffee roasting brand created by coffee roaster Gabe Balas in Kerrville, Texas. Gabe has been roasting coffee for over 25 years and started Cafenea in 2025. He has a passion for clean coffee made with superior quality organic single-origin, 100% Arabica beans. His beans are sourced, sun-dried and packed to insure they are free of mold, fillers, pesticides, chemicals and debris. He roasts in small batches, in a cast iron drum roaster that brings out the best notes that a coffee bean has to offer! Our coffee we order from Cafenea will be freshly roasted for us just before delivery to the drops! We are so excited to be working with Cafenea to bring you organic, fresh roasted, mold-free whole coffee beans at an exceptional price. Our customers absolutely rave about the coffee we ordered from Cafenea last April! They have been begging us to bring it back! So here it is!
